№ 02 / 02 Guide

Instagram advertising, explained.

What is Instagram advertising?

Instagram advertising is not the same as hitting "boost" on a post. It is a real campaign — goal, audience and budget all planned — built inside Meta Ads Manager and delivered across feed, stories, Reels and Explore. Unlike an organic post that mostly reaches your existing followers, an ad reaches a precisely chosen audience far beyond them, and every lira is measurable: how many people saw it, how many clicked, how many bought.

"Boost post" vs. a real campaign

The one-tap "boost" on your phone is Meta's simplest — and usually most expensive — mode. We build campaigns in Ads Manager around a real objective (traffic, engagement or conversions/sales), then test audiences and creatives separately. With the right structure, the same budget returns far more.

Which formats actually work?

  • Reels: today's highest-reach format — short, scroll-stopping video.
  • Stories: full-screen, intimate and action-driven (polls, swipe-ups).
  • Feed (single & carousel): a lasting creative that explains the product or offer clearly.
  • Explore & Shopping: a storefront opening onto new audiences and direct sales.

How does targeting work?

  • Interests & behaviour: reach people likely to want your product.
  • Lookalike audiences: find new people similar to your existing customers.
  • Location & demographics: the right city, age and gender — in Ankara or across Türkiye.
  • Retargeting: re-reach visitors who looked but didn't buy yet.

Why does the creative matter so much?

However good the targeting is, the thing that stops the scroll is the first two seconds. An ad has to feel like a natural part of the feed — not "an ad" — and carry one clear message with a single call to action. That's why we never rely on one creative: we test several variations at once and scale the winner.

Your ad account and its safety

The most frustrating part of advertising is the account restrictions and rejected ads that come from a sloppy setup. We build everything correctly from the start — Business Manager, domain verification, payment and clean permissions — to avoid blocks. And if a restriction does happen, we know Meta's official appeal process. Your ad account always stays yours; we work on it as a manager, and you can revoke access anytime.

The budget vs. the management fee

These are always two separate, transparent items. The ad budget is paid to Meta straight from your own account — you keep control of the money. The management fee is our strategy, creative and operations. Every month we report plainly what was spent and what it returned.

What is ROAS and how do we measure it?

ROAS (Return on Ad Spend) shows how much revenue each lira of budget returns — it's the number we actually optimize toward. To measure it honestly we set up the Meta Pixel and Conversions API and attribute sales to the right source. So your ads aren't about likes, but about profit.

Who is it for?

E-commerce, local businesses, restaurants and service brands — anyone who wants more customers from Instagram, fast and measurably.

How is pricing set?

By your budget, number of campaigns and creative needs. After a short call we recommend a transparent monthly plan with clear ROAS goals — no long lock-in.

Frequently asked questions

What's the minimum ad budget?

It varies by goal and sector, and we don't impose a fixed floor. After the brief we suggest a sensible starting budget, then scale the campaign that works once the first data comes in — no wasted spend.

Difference between the ad budget and the management fee?

The ad budget goes straight from your own account to Meta and is spent entirely on ads; the management fee is the cost of our strategy, creative and operations. The two always stay separate and transparent on the invoice.

How soon will I see results?

Ads deliver first data and results within days. But meaningful optimization and a stable ROAS settle over the first 2–4 weeks, as the algorithm learns — it's a patient, data-led process.

Do you prepare the creatives?

Yes — visuals, Reels, stories and ad copy are produced by us, on-brand and built to convert. We can also work with content you've shot yourself.

Who owns the ad account?

You do — always. We run the campaigns as a manager on your own Meta account, so your data and history stay with you, and you can revoke access anytime.

What if my account gets restricted?

A correct, rules-compliant setup prevents most restrictions in the first place. If a rejection or block still happens, we run Meta's official appeal process on your behalf and find the fastest resolution.
